Seven people were wounded in a roadside bomb explosion targeting a convoy of a foreign security firm guarding French embassy vehicles here, according to an Interior Ministry source. The attack took place in Baghdad's central district of Karrada when a roadside bomb detonated near a convoy of French embassy vehicles guarded by a foreign security firm, the source said Monday.
The blast wounded four Iraqis who work for the security firm and three passersby, the source said. A medical source at the Ibn al-Nafis hospital said that the hospital received seven injured people including security guards, without any other details.
