The United States and the Zionist regime want to create military conflicts between regional countries, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said on Wednesday. Mehmanparast made the remarks during a seminar held at Iranian Armed Forces’ headquarters in Tehran. The U.S. also wants to wage a war between regional and the Islamic nations, he stated. Washington believes military conflicts in the region will save the Zionist regime from collapse, he noted.
He added that the West is making efforts to drag Iran into this war as well.He went on to say that “Iran’s military capability is at a level that no country… can even imagine invading our soil and they themselves have always said the thought of attacking Iran is stupid and insane.”However, it does not mean that Iran poses any threat to any regional countries, he added.
The Islamic Republic will give a crushing response to any country that wants to attack it, he stated. The more powerful Iran is the more secure and stable the region would be, he said. If the regional countries want to have security and stability, they should act independently and defend their people, he opined. Mehmanparast also suggested that regional countries not be optimistic about support by the West. Elsewhere in his remarks, he said Iran’s relations with regional countries should improve, advising regional nations to prioritize regional cooperation
