As Thailand readies for potential post-election violence after July 3 polls, the United States Marines have been training Thai military and police force in crowd control techniques and in the use of non-lethal weapons such as Tasers and pepper spray. If tensions do erupt, authorities will want to avoid a death toll as bad as the 91 killed in last year's Bangkok unrest.
