Venezuela's Adjunct Ambassador to the United Nations, Julio Escalona writes: Circumstances favoring the union and convergence of people's struggles in the South and North are developing. The IMF, Pentagon, NATO and the Zionists are creating the circumstances for this convergence. The social and civilizing war against the world's oppressed deepens and the Indignant, the Encamped, the impoverished, desperate, downtrodden, tortured,the organized and disorganized, those with different color skins, diverse religions are on the move and some are saying: enough!

The IMF, the Pentagon and NATO are the horsemen all set to charge against the peoples.A peculiarity of the current moment is that the process appears linked in time to the cause of the Palestinian people's liberation with the unity agreement signed by Palestinian people's representatives and the proposal that the UN general assembly comply with a heavy historical debt: the proclamation of a sovereign Palestinian State, the preparation of a new freedom flotilla to Gaza with humanitarian aid. 

Then there are NATO bombardments in Libya and the diverse and complex protest movements in the Middle East. Each struggle has its own peculiarities and routes. Uniting them artificially is not recommendable. But it cannot be casual that the growing movement of the Indignant and the other highlighted processes coincide in time. A time when neoliberal globalization, pushed on by financial capital extends its domination and multiplies profits. while peoples' and nature's poverty grows, which is at the root of the whole process.
