Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi here on Sunday stressed that world nations will never forget hosting of millions of refugees, including Afghans, by the Islamic Republic of Iran over the past three decades. He made the remark in a meeting with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) representative in Iran Bernard Doyle.
Salehi reiterated that all refugees living in Iran, including the Afghan refugees, have been enjoying all possible educational and welfare facilities in the country.Presenting a copy of his credentials to the Iranian foreign minister, Doyle expressed his satisfaction with his presence in the Islamic Republic. Praising Iran’s approach towards refugees, he said the Islamic Republic has fulfilled all its humanitarian commitments in that regard.
