Former governor of Aragua state and current fugitive from justice, Didalco Bolivar, denounced this Monday that his former partner of the right-wing party Podemos, Ismael Garcia, has transformed the political party into a franchise by negotiating candidatures for governor"s offices with foreign economic groups.Bolivar assured that the negotiation was closed at 9 million dollars with businessman Gianfranco Napolitano. The goal of the financing will include sponsoring a right-wing candidate for the presidential elections in 2012.

Through a phone call to a Venezuelan radio show, Bolivar, who belongs to the right-wing and fled to Peru in 2009 to avoid the corruption investigation opened against him, assured that Napolitano is an old partner of Podemos.According to Bolivar, Napolitano is the main sponsor of the party. In addition, he owns several private media in Venezuela, but he lives in Miami, United States.

Moreover, Bolivar said Napolitano entered into political life by making illegal transactions amounting 53.49 billion dollars, through a cooperative during the government in Yaracuy state of Carlos Gimenez, who was impeached by the Supreme Court for corruption.Greogorio Garcia, Ismael Garcia"s brother, is allegedly linked also with negotiations, Bolivar added.Finally, he explained that Podemos is trying to hold a permanent internal fight within opposition for the governor"s office in Aragua, so as to finally present at the end Ismael Garcia as the only candidate for said state.
