The Grand Housing Mission Venezuela has allocated over 60 thousand dwelling units throughout the year, informed Thursday head of the Capital District Government Jacqueline Faria.Interviewed in private TV station Venevision, Faria detailed that there have been allocated over 1,500 homes in the Capital District."Last year, we handed over 4,600 homes in the Capital District, surprising many people who thought there could not be constructed more houses in Caracas," she said.Jacqueline Faria emphasized the participation of private business in the construction of housing complexes for the Grand Mission.In a different context, she said thanks to an accord signed with the People's Republic of China, the Venezuelan Government has set up a total 158 elevators in old buildings of the capital city."These are elevators which benefit disabled people because are bigger and better lighting," said governor Faria.Finally, she said amid policies of the Capital District Government and Ministry of Land Transport to improve citizens' life, there have been asphalted several roads of Caracas."This year, we set the goal of laying 158 thousand tons asphalt and we will meet that goal," Faria affirmed.
