In a taped speech addressing the three-day Arab Forum on Asset Recovery here Tuesday, Obama encouraged ordinary citizens and their conviction to determine their destiny and build their future during the Arab Spring. He pointed out that during the Group of Eight conference which was held in the city of Deauville last year, the US joined its allies to support these democratic transitions in the Middle East and North Africa. He believed that this support includes economic reforms that create jobs, promote trade, entrepreneurship and fighting corruption so that people can live with dignity.
