Anti-Saudi sentiments have risen in Bahrain after a new footage showed a mosque being destroyed by Saudi forces in an attack in the northern town of Kawarah. The footage showed burnt pages of the holy Qur’an buried under the debris. Earlier, Bahraini opposition said they had evidence of Saudi forces involvement in the destruction of the mosque and their brutal operations against the anti-monarchy protesters.Bahraini opposition has called on the Saudi troops to leave the country.Chairman of the Committee Against Torture in Bahrain Rodney Shakespeare told Press TV that a kind of aggression has been organized by America on behalf of Israel and in coordination with the Saudis.

“It is a totalitarian aggression, it is completely fascist and it has committed today a heinous crime,” Shakespeare said.He went on to say that when you destroy a mosque, which is the home of Allah, you are dishonoring yourself and you are dishonoring Islam.

“You are making a huge mistake because Saudi Arabia you are now out in public exactly as your true nature… They ordered the crackdown. They have got 4,500 troops there. It must have happened on their instruction, because it certainly wouldn’t have happened without them giving the say so,” Shakespeare added. He noted that both of these countries Saudi Arabia and Bahrain are in complete cohort with Israel.“It is a totally fascist situation and the only way out of it is the total reversal of the policy and then maybe some sort of honor will come back for the Americans, it will never come back for the Saudis. They have gone too far today when they desecrated that mosque,” Shakespeare added.
