EU in race to digitise economy http://euobserver.com/9/31921
- The EU is trying to drag all of its member states into the digital age. In the not-too-distant future, all EU citizens should have internet access, most should routinely shop online, their medical records will be stored in a data cloud, they will plan trips using smart technology, access art and culture electronically and pay bills, return tax forms and interact with government all online.
[and if u have a grievence with government policy, you just make an appeal online?im sure they will get to meet your concerns properly VIA THE INTERNET ..NOT!EU citizens better wake up,people in member states are having a hard enough time holding their politicians accountable, especially ona EU LEVEL where MP'S of each member state HIDE IN BRUSSELS or ARE ROUTINELY TAKING FANCY TRIPS AROUND WORLD ON TAXPAYERS MONEY... THEY CANT EVEN GET FACE TIME ,IMAGINE HAVING TO PROTEST THEIR DRACONIAN IMPOSED POLIIES,VIA THE INTERNET?
