Current Arab League secretary general, Amr Moussa, who is seeking Egypt’s presidential post in the upcoming elections, says he wants to scrap the 1970 Camp David Peace Accord between Egypt and Israel. Moussa expressed his disillusionment at the Camp David Accord saying it was a total failure for Egypt and the region.

During his tour of southern Egypt as part of his election campaign, Amr Moussa reflected what millions of Egyptians want to hear that is Israel immediately halt West Bank construction, recognize an independent Palestinian state and scrap the peace accord.However, being a veteran technocrat, it is not yet clear if what Amr Moussa is saying today would be what he plans to be doing in the future.
