All enemy plots aim at hindering Iranian nation’s progression but by the unity of the nation, they would not be able to practice their threats.”As to Iran’s insistence on reaching nuclear energy Ahmadinejad said,” Nuclear energy is one of the purest energies in the world that all nations should possess it and it should not be in just one country’s monopoly.”“One of the fundamental ways to make progress in science is to pass through different technologies and nuclear technology is one of them,” Ahmadinejad said in an interview. He added, “All corrupt powers trying to rule the world define nuclear energy as atomic bomb while it is just one of the applications and of course an anti-human one.”Ahmadinejad continued, “Western countries know that Iran does not follow atomic bomb in its nuclear activities because the era for atomic bomb is finished and no country can use it anymore.”As to Iran’s position on its cooperation with 5+1 and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) he noted, “They have lost many opportunities and have confronted against Iran without any logical reason. Total Iran-Britain exchanges are $500m while $24 billion with whole Europe and $190 billion is the total amount of Iran’s exchanges. Iran is not willing to cut its exchanges with other countries and has always tried to keep the ties based on friendship and cooperation but if they insist on cutting the exchanges we are not insisting on keeping it.”
The president noted, “We recommend western countries to amend their approaches on Iran. They should know that they would not be able to reach their goals by insulting the Iranian nation.”
