Again Mojarras-Cauca humanitarian camp receives treatment for war http://prensarural.org/spip/spip.php?article12004
This morning, at around 2:00 am,
two national army planes overflew humanitarian camp in the village of
Mojarras-Cauca which preserves more than seven thousand peasants and
farmers who are protesting in search of real social policies in order to
improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the Department. At
7:00 AM platforms of the national army with the ESMAD arrived to the
point of concentration by firing shotgun blasts, tear gas and stun
grenades reinforced with Staples and pieces of metal,plus the actions of this operation is accompanied by shooting the peasants
with guns; at the same time a helicopter
of the army flew over the refuge camp by launching tear gas indiscriminately,
keeping farmers in a State of maximum emergency.At this hour they continue fighting, the armed forces used non-conventional weapons and are also shooting lead bullets. Known
that there are wounded but we don't have the exact number, however
confirmed that thanks to the clashes which led to, and which still
maintain, the armed forces against the peasants, ambulances from
surrounding townships,are prevented and not made presence in place to respond immediately
to the injured.The municipal government, nor the departmental,
or the national have opted for an output agreed to the problems which
today maintains fight the peasantry of the Cauca, on the other hand, the
Government has maintained a treatment of war on the peasantry which in
