Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Envoy to the UN Eshaq Al-Habib has called on the UN to end Zionist Regime’s immunity for the war crimes it is committing in Gaza. Addressing a Security Council meeting on Middle East Developments, including Palestine issue, Al-Habib said the Zionist Regime is repeatedly violating international law for continued blockade of Palestinians, especially in Gaza, while conditions resulting from the occupying regime’s unabated attacks on Gaza in 2009 have not been improved. The UN Fact Finding Team’s report on Gaza clashes should be regarded as a main step towards attempting to compensate violation of international regulations by the Zionist Regime in Gaza, he noted.  “Publication of such a report has raised the hope that the UN organs, including the UN Security Council, will put an end to Zionist Regime’s immunity in the face of war crimes it is committing.”
