What happened next unavoidably contributes to the larger drama of the entire Libyan conflict. Immediately after Ms. al-Obeidi began her solo protest, she was apprehended by security operatives, some masquerading as hotel staff, who were in turn attacked by the journalists present in an attempt to defend her. A wild free-for-all concluded with Ms. Al-Obeidi being taken into custody and speedily hauled away by Libyan authorities to an undisclosed location. The second bizarre incident, again, note the timing, involves the reported capture and killing of government loyalists armed to the teeth with latex condoms and the prescription male sexual-aid, Viagra.

Apparently we are to believe that the al-Gaddafi government, currently engaged in a life-and-death struggle for survival, is far too preoccupied with safer-sex and the male sexual performance of their troops and militia forces than defending themselves against ongoing NATO attacks.Are Ms. Al-Obeidi’s alarming and shocking allegations true? Honestly I don’t know. But I do know this, that the timing and dramatic outing of her accusations and the timing and details of the second report did do a great public relations service to NATO and its member-states gendarmerie. Politicians and generals are much like media executives, they promptly figure out over a period of time what motivates people and what doesn’t. 

And when the casus belli of ‘Democracy Through Bombs’ fails to rally the huddled, corporate-whipped masses to crusade for yet another undeclared war for oil, elites do something right-wing governments have done for decades: you clandestinely appeal to the morality of the left-wing for support via the usage of ‘false-flag’ operations that play on their sympathies. In other words, you trick the liberal community into load-bearing your propaganda for you. Unbeknownst to them of course. And no democratic western nation makes better use of prime-time, uber-sensationalist yellow journalism like the land of ‘free enterprise’.

[I condemn all forms of rape,and seek death penalty in each case,if definatively proven,only not thru mock courts...Secondly what about the rape of men women and even lil boys bu US and NATO soldiers in IRAQ?AFGHANISTAN?THOsE ARENT EVEN DISCUSSED ANYMORE...
