A senior Iranian legislator reiterated on Wednesday that the US should account for its financial and political support for the anti-Iran terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) which has committed many brutal crimes against the Iranian nation. "The US administration should account for its support for this terrorist grouplet to the world's public opinion," Mohammad Hossein Nejad-Fallah told FNA. Stressing the terrorist nature of the MKO, he pointed to the group's black record and long-time hostilities towards the Iranian nation, and reminded that the members of the terrorist group have assassinated more than 12,000 innocent Iranians since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979. 

The legislator also reminded the crimes committed by the MKO members against the Iraqi people, specially Iraq's Kurd population, in collaboration with the former Baath regime in previous years, and said, "Today our Muslim brothers in Iraq, like the Iranians, hate the ringleaders and members of this grouplet."
