Oil prices could rocket to $200- $300 a barrel if the world’s top crude exporter Saudi Arabia is hit by serious political unrest, former Saudi oil minister Sheikh Zaki Yamani told Reuters on Tuesday.Yamani said he saw no immediate sign of further trouble following protests last month calling for political reforms but said that underlying discontent remained unresolved.“If something happens in Saudi Arabia it will go to $200 to $300. I don’t expect this for the time being, but who would have expected Tunisia?” Yamani told Reuters on the sidelines of a conference of the Centre for Global Energy Studies (CGES) which he chairs.“The political events that took place are there and we don’t expect them to finish. I think there are some surprises on the horizon,” he said in a speech.
[let me start by saying i spit on reuters..then lets adress the claim, sure it would reach 200 ,you said so,its more likely,if housted (the client regime)all oil would be cut,to US and justly so,again this is an hypothesis...either way,in the documentary ''our very own private bin laden'' a saudi oil exec. representing saudi at opec, admitted they sell a barrel for 17 dollars to united states...wich emans speculators abroad add an extra 100 depending on fluctuation oil prices on the global market...
now,so what if a barrel hit 200?whos fault woudl that be?thsoe masses of opressed dissidents there?or the global financial speculators and the ones that ,maintain their repressive client regime in power?as far as im concerned, the oil is drapped in blood, and 17 bucks is far from fair...the client regime should be removed by force if necessary, and then the pople should hike the price from 17 dollars a barrel to 117 a barrel, and let the international specualtors try hiking it to 200-300 unil the public realizes who's the criminal, and let them remove their own crooked criminal regime in west!this is an attempt to garner support to maintain a criminal client regime in power,to safeguard western interests...
