A Canadian intelligence report written in late 2009 called the anti-Gaddafi stronghold of eastern Libya an "epicenter of Islamist extremism" and said "extremist cells" operated in the region, now being defended by a Canadian-led NATO coalition.The report by the government’s Integrated Threat Assessment Centre said "several Islamist insurgent groups" were based in eastern Libya and mosques in Benghazi were urging followers to fight in Iraq.Canada’s widely read newspaper National Post that obtained this classified document says it noted "Within the region, the population holds more conservative views compared to the rest of Libya and Islamist activism is strongly concentrated."

[Here lies the huge problem wich is,fact that we shouldnt be against these so called extremists because one they are called extremists by state sponsors of terrorism's intelligence agencies,wich shows you what thata mmounts to,freedom fighters...however,then us french brittish throw support behidn tehse,via chosen commanders wich are almost invisible and missing from the fighting,and if rebels win,then the power will lie with the colonial powers and their commanders,not rebels,wich have a legitimate grievence as do certain segments of libyan opposition...this creates almst an impossible situation,for those who seek freedom against western powers..because it puts us literally betweena rock and a hard place...whats solution?definatly not one that would allow western powers t take over station themselves for decades with bases and control of libyan resources,so what is it?i have no idea,except hope western powers and qaddafi,both scum in my book ,qaddafi being lesser scum who shouldnt have joined EU'S FRONTEX torture detention centers,or attempted to appease west in so called (WAR ''OF'' TERROR),then imperial wolves...disappeared..situation is impossible and not going to benefit anyone as it stands...and rebels should not accept any aid from IMPERIAL WOLVES...
