The blind terrorist attacks waged by the US and Israeli hirelings and mercenaries in the Sunni populated provinces of Iran can never harm solidarity between the Shiite and Sunni Iranians, a senior military official said. "The US and Israeli hirelings cannot impair unity and solidarity among people of this region through their blind terrorist attacks," Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said, addressing a meeting of the Administrative Council of the city of Konarak in Iran's Southeastern Sistan and Balouchestan province on Wednesday. "Those who embark on terrorist actions and kill the innocent people are no way related to the Sunnis or Islam, because Islam is the religion of kindness, affection, blessing and logic," he added.
The United States and Israel have created several terrorist groups and provided them with financial and arms supports to disturb security and stability in Iran to find a pressure lever in its cold war with the Islamic Republic. After Iran's security forces arrested Jundollah's No 1 and 2 and its other high-ranking and influential leaders in the last few months, an increasing number of Jundollah members surrendered themselves to the Iranian authorities, but western, specially the US, spy agencies attempted hard to reorganize and revitalize the group. The Pakistani based Jundollah terrorist group, directly sponsored and supported by Washington, is responsible for several terrorist operations which have killed tens of citizens, officials and security forces in Southeastern Iran.
