He also added that secret agreements between political leaders would keep them there.

The judiciary officer, Uday Al-Khadran pointed that the captive family and leaders of the Baath Party are impeding the process of transfer and rejecting it. He added that from the 416 members of the Khalq organization, 350 are women.

The Iraqi government has warned members of the Iranian Khalq Organization, from breaking the law, saying it will impose on them the laws of the Iraqi State.

Iraqi Government Spokesman Ali Al-Dabbagh said that Iraqi security forces responsible for the protection of Camp Ashraf in Diyala province, imposed law and order after members of the Khalq Organization attacked the security forces, which left 5 injured.

Adnan Al-Shahmani, MP of the State and Law Coalition and National Alliance, said that the properties of Camp Ashraf belong to the Iraqi State. He also said in a press conference, that the issue of Camp Ashraf became a reality after some of its inhabitants got transferred and many others deported. He assured that the properties in the camps do not belong to the organization but to the Iraqi government, and should be protected.

On April 26 2012, Iraq demanded the resettlement of Camp Ashraf’s residents, and on April 11 2012, the United Nations confirmed that the Iraqi State is responsible for the security of the Khalq Organization members, stressing that those members need to respect the laws of the country.

And Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, during a meeting with the United Nations representative, Martin Kobler, on the April 4, 2012, stressed on the need to abolish the Khalq organization in Iraq.

And on 17 February 2012, the government started the transfer process of 3400 people from Camp Ashraf to Liberty Camp, with the help of the United Nations.

It is noteworthy to mention that one was killed and 12 were injured from the Khalq organization, and 13 elements from the Iraqi army were injured, during clashes between the two groups.
