Bourgeoisie means going 30 years back
Recalling that in the last 10 years the current Administration has invested $ 500 billion for social development, Chavez said that if the bourgeoisie seizes power again it would mean a step backwards of at least 30 years, to the past marked by governments with neoliberal policies to the detriment of the people.
"Young people! What we have achieved these years is at stake! It would mean a 30-years step backward.
But it will not happen because on October 7th we will open the new gates of the future for the new term 2013-2019. "It's not through violence that we will confront. No. it's with ballots, with ideas," said the socialist candidate to call Venezuelans to be on the alert in the face of possible violent plans of the right wing and to vote to fight their destabilizing efforts. In this connection, he reaffirmed: "We will win, they can't prevent it. Anyway, I alert you people about the destabilizing plans, violent plans. Let's not allow them to take Venezuela through the path of violence. Let's not yield to provocation."Hugo Chavez deplored the death of two militants of the opposing party last Saturday in western state of Barinas. But "they are planning to reject the results, claim fraud, cause riots. For this reason, I tell you the best antidote to violence is an avalanche of ballots," Chavez said. The candidate said he will continue unbeaten in Venezuela. In this connection, he said he will not fail to Venezuelans in his new term in office, as he has not done it in 14 years of government."I have not failed and I will not fail you. Chavez does not accept bribes, Chavez does not back out, Chavez does not allow to be controlled by imperialism neither the bourgeoisie," he reaffirmed."Chavez wins the Battle of Carabobo on Sunday," he said referring to the battle which sealed Venezuela's independence, "The people will win. Onward to victory!."
