Chairman of the Commission of the African Union (AU) Jean Ping on Friday stressed rejection of foreign interferences in the internal affairs of peoples and that the great powers should respect the sovereignty and independence of the Arab and African countries.Ping underscored the importance of coordinating work between the Arab and African countries in all fields and at the regional and international levels based on the common history and geography shared by the Arab and African peoples and the challenges they face.He also referred to the misleading campaigns conducted by some media to smear Syria’s image and incite the regional and international public opinion toward the Western countries’ plot against Syria because of its standing in the face of the conspiracies targeted against the Palestinian Cause.
