Source Discloses Manama-Washington Joint Plot against Bahraini Shiites http://english.farsnews.com/newstext.php?nn=9007100354
Informed sources revealed that the US and the al-Khalifa regime have worked out a plan with $2 million of funding to push the Shiite Muslims out of the scene of political activities in Bahrain. Sheikh Baqir, the secretary-general of a Muslim association named 'No to Violence' in the US, revealed the plot, and in a letter to Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa called for an end to fake trials of the Bahraini Shiite activists.
According to the report, Baqir said that the decrees issued by such courts are aimed at taking revenge from the Shiites and serve as part of the attempts made by the al-Khalifa regime to bring the Shiite population in Bahrain under full control. Horrifying evidence has recently shed light on the brutality of the Bahraini regime's crackdown on the revolting people. Anti-government protesters have been holding peaceful demonstrations across Bahrain since mid-February, calling for an end to the Al Khalifa dynasty's over-40-year rule.
Violence against the defenseless people escalated after a Saudi-led conglomerate of police, security and military forces from the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) member states - Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Qatar - were dispatched to the tiny Persian Gulf kingdom on March 13 to help Manama crack down on peaceful protestors. Yet, protests and rallies continued throughout the country in defiance of the martial law put in place by Manama.People say they will continue protests until the regime collapses.
