Safe and sound, Zainab Omar al-Hasni, the girl from Homs province who the instigative TV channels has woven a fictitious tale of her being killed, burned, and mutilated at the hands of the security forces, appeared on the Syrian TV on Tuesday to lay bare the truth about what happened to her.The 18 year old Zainab, who lives in Homs, uncovered in an interview with the Syrian TV how she, without the knowledge of her parents, left home and went to stay at one of her relatives' five days before the month of Ramadan, fleeing from the torture of her brothers had inflicted on her.

Zainab noted that her family does not know that she is alive and that she heard and saw the news about her alleged death on a number of TV channels which said that she got arrested by the security personnel who, after allegedly killing her, burned her body, dismembered it and delivered it back to her parents."I came today to the Police department to tell the truth and belie the news about my death...I am perfectly alive and I opted to tell the truth because I am planning to get married in the future and have kids whom I want to be registered," said Zainab.

Confirming that she had never been arrested at her home and her house had never been raided by security forces before, fleeing Zainab refused to give any details about what happened to her and made her leave home, but asked for her mother's forgiveness.Youssef al-Hasni, Zainab's brother, claimed in a video recording broadcast by a number of tendentious channels that his sister was kidnapped from the street on July 7th by the security members, alleging that the security forces had called his family and asked them to turn him in exchange for the dead body of his sister Zainab.
