Syria's religious authority warned that any western military intervention in the country's affairs would trigger martyrdom-seeking operations by Syrians across Europe and the US. "In case of any aggression against Syria, all Syrians will become martyrdom-seekers," Syria's Grand Mufti Sheikh Badroddin Hasoun said, addressing the European countries. "If Europe or conspirators launch an invasion of Syria or Lebanon, all our children in Britain, France and the US will turn into martyrdom-seekers," he added.
