Speaking at a panel discussion in Istanbul, Turkey, The ICON LEFT PALESTINE, LEILA K haled, denounced the Syrian opposition, arguing that what is currently happening in Syria can not be called a "Revolution," the Angry Arab News Service. KHALED, MEMBER OF POPULAR FRONT FOR THE LIBERATION OF PALESTINE (PFLP), RECOGNIZED AS "legitimate demands" of the Syrian people, but said the armed opposition and other opposition works with different agenda. She suggested that SYRIAN OPPOSITION IS PART OF A BROADER AGENDA OF U.S. FOREIGN POLICY IN THE MIDDLE EAST, in which Turkey, Arab Gulf States, and the United States aimed at ensuring Israel's security.
