Zahra wonders if Hezbollah would let government cooperate with Bulgaria
Lebanese Forces bloc member, MP Antoine Zahra Wednesday asked the government to what extent was it ready to cooperate with Bulgaria in the case of handing over Hezbollah's members accused of the blast that targeted Israeli tourists a year ago. "Premier Najib Mikati said the government would cooperate, but will it be the same way it cooperated with the Special Tribunal for Lebanon?" he wondered in his interview with the Free Lebanon radio. "What if Hezbollah decided to 'worship' the accused [by Bulgaria], what would the government do in that case?" Tackling the issue of lifting the immunity off Deputy Boutros Harb, Zahra made it clear that Judge Hatem Madi's request was solely-made and had no connection whatsoever with the judicial body. "We must not lose faith in our judiciary," he confirmed, praising President Michel Sleiman's keenness on playing his constitutional role in activating the state institutions.[ed note;worship the accused?you piece of s#%t! independent judiciary?really?how independent is it really?see below...
