MP Michel Aoun said the security incidents on the Lebanese borders are caused by all the oppositionists and a part of the loyalists with respect to Mikati-led cabinet.Aoun's stance came Tuesday in the context of a meeting for the Bloc of Reform and Change at his residence in Rabieh.Aoun attacked those directing their rhetoric against Hezbollah and Syria at the time that there are other pending problems in the country worth to be solved. "What is going on is the consequence of a gap caused by legal officials who have not defended their country as they were supposed to do, and so, Hezbollah came to bridge the gap."Turning to the issue pertaining to extending the period of the parliamentary mandate, Aoun said the Bloc of Reform and Change was ditched by all in this concern.

National News Agency correspondent reported Tuesday that fans of Salafist Sheikh Ahmad Assir traded fire with a group of Sous family in the eastern Sidon locality of Abra.The clash, where RPGs and gun-machines are being reportedly used, erupted against the backdrop of a former dispute, when Assir's fans attacked a grocery shop owned by a member of Sous family.In counterpart, anonymous persons assailed a white Toyota van in Qayyaha region owned by Assir's brother, Amjad."We will not remain silent over this criminal act," Assir told a meeting with his supporters at Bilal Bin Rabah mosque.Gunmen also took to the streets and closed the road at Bahaaeddine Hariri Mosque in Sidon.Units of the Lebanese army and security forces kicked off investigations to identify and apprehend culprits
