By early 2013, the continuing expansion of jihadist and Salafist groups in the northern part of the country transformed Mali into ‘Malistan,’” writes a leading analyst.“(a zionist shill from zio-brittish HJS) In such a context, in January 2013, the West and in particular France had no choice but to intervene military to face off with the jihadists.

This is that the Islamist ‘terrorist’ groups that have taken over control of the region are not only the creations of Algeria’s secret police, the Département du Renseignement et de la Sécurité (DRS), but they are being supplied, supported and orchestrated by the DRS.In my two volumes on terrorism and the global war on terror (GWOT) in the Sahara-Sahel, The Dark Sahara (Pluto, 2009) and The Dying Sahara (Pluto 2012, in press), I describe and give detailed evidence of how Algeria’s DRS has colluded with western military intelligence in fabricating ‘false-flag’ terrorism to justify the West’s GWOT in Africa. The two volumes detail how AQIM was created by the DRS; how the DRS has been behind almost all of the more than 60 kidnaps of western hostages in the region since 2003 and how it has worked with the US, UK and French intelligence services in promoting the GWOT, state terrorism and co-called counter-terrorism policies.Holding elections the last week of July was a huge successful bet that unfortunately will not alleviate the country’s problems,” writes Olivier Guitta. [ed notes:its really just utilizing hegelian dialectic principles to accomplish their geopolitical goals...the west,to maintain an atmosphere of perpetual conflict between seemingly opposed but yet asymmetrically connected opposition camps, props up an illegitimate regime,(then uses its funded civil society groups to certify its legitimacy, until it no longer serves its purpose or follows orders)wich endows it with cheap resources,at expense of development(thus creating the corruption model then its allies set up radicalization centers in order to create an opposition and conflict ,wich always suits the west because it then justifies arms sales under ''security management''(the stability concerns rackett,[algerian model])arms procurements and contracts wich are highly mutually beneficial( useful scams, like bogus drug war)
On July 28, successful elections took place in Mali with an unusually high turnout of about 50 percent. Democracy has been brought back to life in a chaotic time, not a small achievement indeed. …But it is just a matter of time before the jihadists(who are tied to wests client regimes in gulf and MENA region and western intelligence assets) start their usual asymmetrical war tactics. Mali is still a very much divided country between Islamists and secularists, and the war has left indelible scars.
“It is difficult to reconcile the poverty and dysfunction in Mali with the pre-conflict and pre-coup narrative of development success espoused by multilateral organisations and international NGOs alike,” notes another analysis. “Right up until the ouster of President Amadou Toumani Touré in March 2012, the West African state was a darling of the aid community, lauded for having strung together multiple successful democratic transitions since 1991. But the data tell a different story,” IRIN reports: At best, aid to Mali has been ineffective from an economic or institutional development perspective, enabling corruption,(rewarded by west every step of the way,of course!) undermining the government’s will and ability to raise revenue through productive means or taxation,(the client regime had no interest in development, just lining their, and their masters pockets of course) and insulating it from accountability to the population, according to analysts and observers. At worst, these conditions directly led to the conflict in the north and political crisis in Bamako.Channelling aid through the government of a country that suffers from endemic corruption at all levels perverts the state’s incentive structure, say analysts. It removes the need for the government to be externally accountable to its outside investors, in this case donors who knowingly participated in corruption. It also internally eliminates the need for the public sector to develop basic governing institutions, which represent the “vital link of accountability between state and citizen,” according to aid expert and author Jonathan Glennie. Without this accountability, citizens are removed from the political process and elites are free to extract and expropriate from the state with abandon, creating the conditions for state failure and conflict.“Taken together, these data suggest that Mali’s problems are rooted in its institutions and further corroborate what some scholars have already asserted: the coup, Tuareg rebellion, al-Qaeda penetration and corruption of the state were all symptoms of the same basic institutional dysfunction,” it continues. “Nothing has fundamentally changed to address the deficiencies in accountability and oversight, yet over US$4 billion of development aid is poised to come online at the conclusion of the current political transition.”
Radicalization
“Another worrisome fact is that Mali has also undergone a major seismic shift towards radicalization,” writes Guitta: In fact, starting in the 1950′s, Saudi Arabia began investing in the country, from madrasas to cultural centers to clinics and pharmacies….Still today, Saudi funding helps build prayer halls, orphanages, bridges and roads in northern Mali. Wahhabi investment has a lasting effect. Just in Bamako there are over 3,000 madrasas and between 25 percent and 40 percent of Malian children attend them where the teaching is done in Arabic rather than in the usual French. “The concerning aspect of this phenomenon is that madrasas are out of reach of the government’s control, are free to teach whatever they deem advisable and, little by little, are creating generations of Wahhabis,” he concludes.
[ed notes:yes wahhabism is/was a problem (ew,i have to agree with a zionist puke argh lol ),but unmentioned is fact that the zionists like HJS bringing this up,leave out fact that saudi wahhabism(and other western client regimes, qatar, morroco, algeria etc who also fund/trained these radicals) did so under zionist controlled western govt's directives. Why didnt the zionist ran west cut arms sales to these proxy client regimes when they radicalized region?Because they needed it radicalized...fuels the arms race and enriches the western military industrial complex!!!And who's close to worlds biggest weapons industries that profit from all this conflict and corruption racketts?Thats right, zionist organizations like the henry jackoff society, jinsa etc..see...
