Reflective narration from US-based, Jerusalem-born Miko Peled, whose book, The General’s Son, is due out later this year from Just World Books. The last 5 minutes are particularly worth a listen: the history Peled outlines will not be new to those familiar with the conflict, but it is significant because it is interspersed with his own family history and because Peled’s testimony adds to the much needed puncturing of zionist myths within a culture that has been colonized by them. He talks about the 2009 brutal Israeli attack on Gaza at the 15 minute mark.
