The announcement came as the state witnessing nearly two-month-long protests.

Earlier, Reuters news agency have excused to French Channel Two for providing archive photos of Lebanon, claiming they are on Syria. On Sunday night, the newscaster on “France 2” commenced the bulletin by the fake photos news, explaining that "Reuters apologized for providing the channel with photos from its archive on Lebanon, which were broadcast on the France 2 as photos of Syria."
