Iranian Space Agency (ISA) officials announced that the country plans to send two satellites into space by February. ISA official Asghar Ebrahimi said the first satellite called Tolou (Rising) will be sent into space in February and the other one Fajr (Dawn) will be launched by September. Tolou which weighs less than 80 kg would be placed at 400 km above the earth surface while it is to be sent by A2 or Simorgh satellite carrier.The satellite with the lifespan of 1.5 year is able to take photos with high quality. Fajr is the first remote-sensing satellite of the country, manufactured by Iran's Defense Ministry, with the capability of changing from the elliptical orbit of 300-450 kg to a circular orbit of 450 kg which increases the lifetime of the satellite by one and a half years.
