The United States and Israel are trying to undermine Russia through inciting a civil war between Muslim and Orthodox communities in this country: Iranian Ambassador to Moscow.Iranian Ambassador to Moscow, Reza Sajjadi, warned that the US and its smaller ally the Zionist regime in Tel Aviv have drawn up plans to incite unrests or even a factional civil war in Russia, MNA reported.

Based on Sajjadi’s comments regarding the situation inside Russia, Washington and Tel Aviv have joined forces to promote a civil war between Muslims and Orthodox communities living in Russia. The plan is to keep Moscow policy makers tangled with ongoing domestic troubles therefore undermining Russia’s interests since Washington still regards Russia as a rival superpower, the ambassador noted.

‘The Zionist regime also seeks to destabilize Russia to pave the way for plundering Russia’s resources and wealth,’ the diplomat added.Washington and its NATO allies have drawn long-term strategic plans to encircle Russia and create political factions friendly towards the West. Russia enjoys vast natural resources including huge oil, gas and mineral deposits.
