The United States has 'factually zero credibility' in the Middle East, the foreign policy spokesman of the parliamentary faction of the opposition radical leftist party, The Left (Die Linke), Wolfgang Gehrcke, said here on Friday. He said it was not credible by the US to call for democracy in Libya, while omitting to mention the invasion of several Arab Persian Gulf states in Bahrain as well as 'the dictatorial conditions in Said Arabia.'
Gehrcke stressed double standards did 'not constitute a good foreign policy.' He added the American position on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was 'peppered with double standards.' The US administration has adopted a soft stance on the settlement issue of the Zionist regime amid ongoing pressure by the powerful Washington-based Zionist lobby.
