Head of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi in a meeting with Chairman of Pakistan's Senate Farooq Hamid Naik in Tehran on Sunday cautioned about the plots hatched by the US and Britain to sow discord between Tehran and Islamabad. "There is no doubt that the US and Britain do not want strong and consolidated relations between Iran and Pakistan," Boroujerdi said during the meeting.
Boroujerdi further urged closer cooperation between Iran and Pakistan in combating drug-traffickers and terrorists, underlining that the two countries can root out terrorism through serious cooperation. Naik, for his part, underlined his country's enthusiasm for deepening the bilateral relations with Iran, and said, "No party can influence the friendship and the deepening ties between the two nations."
He also hailed Iran's key role in the establishment of peace and security in the region, and underlined, "We praise the Islamic Republic of Iran's fundamental role in restoring and establishing peace and security in the region.""And we welcome Iran and Pakistan's cooperation in the establishment of peace and security and advancement of development in not just the two countries but the other neighboring states."
[IF PAKISTAN FURTHER INTEGRATES AND INCREASES COOPERATION WITH IRAN(WICH IS WHAT IS NOW HAPPENING)TWO THINGS WILL DEFINATLY AFFECT WESTERN PRESENCE IN REGION,1)THEIR GLOBAL DRUG TRAFFICKING WILL LOOSE MAJOR FOOTHOLD IN PAKISTAN AS THEY HAVE IN IRAN(THANKS TO THEIR ANTI DRUG POLICIES) 2)AND THEY WILL BE ISOLATED IN REGION,AS IRAN SEEMS TO BE NOW MEDIATING BETWEEEN PAKISTAN,INDIA,ON LONGSTANDING ISSUES ISSUES,BY OFFERING MUTUAL COOPERATION PROJECTS,IN ALL FIELDS,ECONOMIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL,CULTURAL,...INDIA PAKISTAN AND IRAN ARE ALREADY ENGAGED IN NEW TRADE DEALS CONCERNING A FUTURE PIPELINE THAT WILL RUN THRU ALL THSE NATIONS...I SEE DEFINATE HOPE HERE,AND IRAN AS A MEDIATOR BETWEEN THESE PARTIES..IT WILL ALSO REDUCE WEST'S ABILITY TO ARM JUNDOLLAH TERROR NETWORKS TO CARRY OUT ATTACKS IN IRAN VIA PAKISTAN ;)
